Sharapova Hires Groeneveld to coach Her

World number 4 Maria Sharapova got Sven Groeneveld to coach her for the 2014 season. She made the announcement on her Facebook page last Thursday.

"I'm happy to announce my official partnership with Sven Groeneveld," Sharapova said on her Facebook page.

"We've been working together since I got back on the court and after seeing him on the opposing side for so many years, I'm excited to have him become a part of my team. It has been a very seamless transition and I have had a lot of fun with the hard work we have put in so far. Looking forward to the year ahead."

Groeneveld had worked with Monica Seles, Mary Pierce and Ana Ivanovic.

Radek Stepanek of Czech Republic defeated Dusan Lajovic in Davis Cup

Czech Republic defended successfully it's Davis Cup title with Radek Stepanek winning against Dusan Lajovic of Serbia 3-2 in the final.

Stepanek won 6-3, 6-1, 6-1 in the deciding match in Belgrade. The Czechs held a 2-1 lead going into today’s play. World No. 2 Novak Djokovic leveled the scores with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 victory over Tomas Berdych.

Djokovic wins Paris Masters title beats Ferrer

Novak Djokovic defeated defending champion David Ferrer of Spain 7-5 7-5 to win the Paris Masters last Sunday and he is hoping to reclaim the world number one spot by the end of this year.

Roger Federer vs Novak Djokovic at Paris Masters

Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer will meet each other for the first time this year at the Paris Masters tournament on Friday Nov 2, for the Semifinals match. While Rafael Nadal will be against fellow Spaniards David Ferrer.

Djokovic force his way into the semi-finals with a big win 6-1, 6-4 over Stanislas Wawrinka, while Federer manage to edge Juan Martin del Potro 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.
