Eugenie Bouchard Edges Maria Sharapova at the Sexiest Women in Tennis Poll

Eugenie Bouchard may be an emerging star but she's now making waves. She have topped the poll done by Tennis Tonic, she has already overtaken Maria Sharapova, she got 22% of the total votes at number 2. Ana Ivanovic is still number 1, by getting 38% of the votes. Agnieska Radwanks who has done a naked photo shoot for ESPN Body got 16% of the votes.

Sharapova got 8%, while Daniela Hantuchova have 6% of the votes. Eugenie Bouchard, 20 has a lot of endorsements deals from multinational companies like Nike and Coke.

Maria Sharapova falls in World Ranking

For failing to advance in the 4th round of the Wimbledon grand-slam tournament, Sharapova of Russia falls to 6th place in the world ranking by the Women's Tennis Association. While surprisingly, Serena Williams keeps his place at number one despite a 3rd round defeat to Alize Cornet of France. Something is not right with this world ranking.

Tennis player Novak Djokovic will marry Jelena Ristic along the scenic Adriatic coast this week. It will be held at the Aman’s Villa Miločer resort. It was a former residence of Montenegro’s Queen Marya and later Yugoslavian dictator Tito. It is now an 8 suite resort by Aman.

NEWPORT, R.I. — Robby Ginepri of USA was not able to contain the power of Ivo Karlovic (2nd seed) of Croatia, losing by 7-6 (2), 6-2 last Monday in the opening round of the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships.

Karlovic is a towering 6-foot-11 pummeled Ginepri with 17 aces and just committed two double-faults. The game is held for the induction ceremonies of the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

Top-seeded John Isner will be playing on Tuesday. He’s looking for his third title in Newport after winning in 2011-12.
