Eugenie Bouchard Drops Sam Sumyk Hires Marko Dragic as coach
Eugenie Bouchard announced on Friday August 7 that she had parted ways with Sam Sumyk. Bouchard has been bothered by injury and a couple of early exits from tournaments. The Canadian hired Sumyk after she had fired long-time coach Nick Saviano in November 2014.
The 21-year-old will be coached temporarily by Serbian Marko Dragic at the Roger's Cup in Toronto as she is looking to rebound from her 1st round loss at Wimbledon. Bouchard world ranking slip from No. 7 to No. 26. She withdraw from the Citi Open last Friday for a second straight year because of an abdominal injury. Tennis is that same without Eugenie Bouchard
